Avery's Birthday Party

 Avery's birthday party was on a beautiful, sunny day thank the Lord! We had the party at my Grandparent's camphouse, and thanks to my Aunt Dawn, I actually got all the decorations up in time! I have some snapshots of the décor, but I won't post a ton...just giving everyone a glimpse of her day!

ONE of the cakes...she had two (and pink lemonade cupcakes as well!).  The other was a caramel cake.

Thanks to everyone who came out to help us celebrate.  She loved playing with all her little cousins and friends.

 

A Little Update...

Yes, I know, it is taking me forever these days to keep up with this blog.  I'm surprised I even have the time to take pictures of my kids much less post them here.  So sad.  I never want to be so busy that I can't enjoy my children so I intend to make every effort to enjoy their childhoods even if we are waist-deep in this crazy roller-coaster ride we call life.  I promise I will post pictures of what we've been up to as soon as possible! Seriously, we are BUSY, but we are making the most of it and enjoying every minute.  Please continue to pray for our family as we continue to step out on faith with our children's boutique. 

 

We cling to Jeremiah 29:11, and we are trusting that God has big plans for us and for this store.  Our prayer is that God will use this store for his glory, that through our work here others will come to know him, that we can be a help and comfort to those in need, and that our hearts will be open to whatever it is he calls us to do.

 

 

The store is doing really well, better than we'd hoped at this point, and all we can say is THANK YOU for being so supportive and helping us spread the word and shopping with us.  We are constantly on the lookout for more affordable options, and we are partnering with local ladies to carry a good many clothing options from right here in MS.  We LOVE that we're able to help stay-at-home Moms provide for their families! Thank you for helping to support their efforts!

 

AND more exciting news...we have officially launched our website!  We have TONS of out-of-town and out-of-state customers shop in our store each weekend, and have had many requests for a way to shop with us from home.  We listened and we hope this website will be an easy way for you all to find your favorite products and brands.  Because we're a new site, it will take us several months to be picked up by the major search engines so please make sure to bookmark the website in order to find us easily. New inventory will be added almost daily.  Make sure to check our specials page for all items on sale.  Please help us spread the word about our website, and please continue to recommend us to your friends!  We soo appreciate it!

Turning One!

My heart just breaks as I type this.  It seems like yesterday that I had Avery.  I'll never forget the pure joy I felt when they placed her in my arms.  I was so extremely happy, and I didn't get the hormonal, emotional mess after having her that I had after having Makenzie and Presley.  I was so blissfully happy and in love with this sweet girl...still am! I am NOT ready for her to be turning a year old so soon, but I have loved every minute of watching her grow and learn new things.

Avery Kathryn, Mommy and Daddy love you so very much.  You are such a joy and a blessing.  We hope you always know how very much you are loved.

I always try to go all out when it comes to my kids' first birthday parties.  I know the party isn't really for them since they have no clue what's going on, but it's all about the memories.  Avery's party will have a shabby chic theme.  Can't wait...just hope I can find the time to get it done!  Pictures to come soon....

Here's the invite thanks to Marlie (again)!  Have I mentioned we have a great photographer? LOL...I don't know how Marlie managed to get the photos she did  from our little mini photo shoot, but if you'd have been there you'd totally agree.  This little girl was everywhere! She wouldn't sit still for a minute or even smile, but Marlie is good, I tell ya! 



Oh So Sassy....

The girls were asked to be in Sissy and Taylor's wedding...they had to pose for pictures before rehearsal!

They crack me up with all their attitude!

Pretty girls (and handsome boys too).  The girls and Tucker love our former pastor, Bro. Ralph, so much, and they were all sooo excited when they saw him!

Avery posed for our ad in February's Town and Gown Magazine, and after working my tail off to get her to smile a little, we actually got some cute shots!

First Steps

My Mom has been working with Avery on the walking...she's starting to get the hang of it!

She took her first steps at the end of her 10th month.  At eleven months, she's on the move.  Wayne acts like he's going to get her when she's walking, and she tries to run from him.  Need to get video of it, but she scares me to death, and I have to be there to catch her when she takes off and lunges for me!
