Mommy, What is WRONG with him?

I have to share this because it is just too funny NOT to! We kept Tucker for Julie on Thursday, and Makenzie was determined she was going to help me take care of him. She wanted to feed him, change him, play with him, everything! I thought it was really sweet of her to be such a big helper (she's been trying to convince us that she needs a baby brother).

I needed to change Tucker's diaper so I asked her to bring me a diaper out of his bag. Of course, she wanted to help and when we took his diaper off she gasped and said, "Mommy, what is wrong with him!" I was like what? So, she pointed and said, "Something's wrong with his hiney!" I got so tickled, but I managed to get out, "Honey, little boys look different than little girls." So that started a whirlwind of questions most of which were "Well, does (insert every boy/man she knows name) look like that?" Trying not to laugh, I assured her that all boys had parts like that. She finally said, "Does my DADDY look like that?" I said, "Yes, honey." She looked at me with wide eyes and said, "Mommy, you've seen Daddy naked?" Oh boy! Time to change the subject! lol...this child is too funny and way too smart for her own good.

Last week she asked me about c-sections...how does she know what a c-section is anyway? She kept asking me if different people had delivered their babies by c-section or not...too funny! I was just waiting on her to say, "Well, if they didn't have a c-section, how'd they have the baby?" But, luckily I avoided that one this time! A few months ago, she thought all you had to do was go to the hospital and pick a baby up if you wanted one, and now she's asking about c-sections! Wonder what she'll ask me next week!

Thank Goodness for Sunny Days

Thanfully this week we've had some warm, sunny days so the girls and I took advantage of them and had a picnic at lunch time.

The girls were really excited to be able to play outside and were running around like crazy not to mention they drove all over the place in their Barbie Jeep.
Makenzie climbed on top of the slide and yelled, "Look Mom! I'm on top of the world!" Where does she get this stuff? lol...she had me laughing so hard.

Stomach Virus for Mommy & Daddy= Vacation for Makenzie & Presley

Wayne brought the stomach virus home from work with him on Wednesday of last week. Luckily, the girls spent the majority of Thurs. and then Thurs. night with my parents so when I came down with the dreaded virus on Friday morning they were able to just stay with my parents to avoid it at all costs. As of yesterday, we were feeling a good bit better and missing our girls who have unfortunately but thankfully been away the whole time. We are soo blessed to have parents who live close by and who are willing to let our children "live" with them to keep them from getting sick. Today, we're finally better and looking forward to having our girls home with us! Please pray that we continue to stay well and that the girls don't end up getting the stomach virus.

Bath Time Fun and Snow Day

Think they have fun in the bath or what? They are hilarious! Recently, they've decided they want to take showers so we'll turn the shower on, and they'll hug each other and scream. We get so tickled at them!

We were forcasted to receive 1-3 inches of snow last week, and Makenzie came into my room the morning after it was supposed to snow saying, "Moma, Moma, there is NO snow on the ground!" She was NOT happy! Luckily, about 9:30 that morning the snow started coming down so we were able to get out and play in it a little...even if it didn't stick!

They just HAD to catch snow flakes on their tongues!

Catching snow flakes...

It was fun while it lasted!

Valentines Day 2010

My sweet girls love each other sooo much! I just love that they're so close and play so well together.

For Valentine's Day, they both decided they wanted to make cards for their Daddy. So, we broke out the paper, glitter, glue, stickers, and markers and got to work. THEN, we made Daddy his favorite...strawberry cupcakes! I wish I would have taken pics, but we were soo busy I forgot..sorry! Daddy LOVED the cards and cupcakes though...he even had special Valentines for his girls as well!
Happy Valentines Day!!!
