I have to share this because it is just too funny NOT to! We kept Tucker for Julie on Thursday, and Makenzie was determined she was going to help me take care of him. She wanted to feed him, change him, play with him, everything! I thought it was really sweet of her to be such a big helper (she's been trying to convince us that she needs a baby brother).
I needed to change Tucker's diaper so I asked her to bring me a diaper out of his bag. Of course, she wanted to help and when we took his diaper off she gasped and said, "Mommy, what is wrong with him!" I was like what? So, she pointed and said, "Something's wrong with his hiney!" I got so tickled, but I managed to get out, "Honey, little boys look different than little girls." So that started a whirlwind of questions most of which were "Well, does (insert every boy/man she knows name) look like that?" Trying not to laugh, I assured her that all boys had parts like that. She finally said, "Does my DADDY look like that?" I said, "Yes, honey." She looked at me with wide eyes and said, "Mommy, you've seen Daddy naked?" Oh boy! Time to change the subject! lol...this child is too funny and way too smart for her own good.
Last week she asked me about c-sections...how does she know what a c-section is anyway? She kept asking me if different people had delivered their babies by c-section or not...too funny! I was just waiting on her to say, "Well, if they didn't have a c-section, how'd they have the baby?" But, luckily I avoided that one this time! A few months ago, she thought all you had to do was go to the hospital and pick a baby up if you wanted one, and now she's asking about c-sections! Wonder what she'll ask me next week!
