After our experience with loss in February of 2011, I couldn't help but think of those who will have to go through this type of experience in the future. I had amazing family and friends who wrapped their arms around us and helped us through this time with their words of encouragement, support, prayers, and even their own personal experiences. I believe sometimes God allows us to go through things in this life so that we can be there for others and understand what they're going through in their times of need. This thought was proven true to me by the many friends and family members who shared their experiences of loss with us during our time of need.
If you are dealing with the loss of a baby in any way at any time-even if you lost that child before 12 weeks and didn't even know the sex- you are not alone. There are so many emotions that come with the healing process, and your feelings of frustration, anger, worry, sadness/grief, bitterness, and self-doubt are all completely normal.
Listed below are some resources, along with our story and things that were special to us, that I hope will be of comfort to you.

Remembering Your Baby in a Special Way:
These are just a few things I've come across while looking for a special way to remember our baby. There are many, many other options. You can simply Google remembering baby after miscarriage or something similar to find tons of creative things.
I personally chose to work with Amber of Imprinted Possessions to custom design a necklace to represent our family. I chose to use a Saphire Swavorski crystal (the birthstone of the baby's due date- September) lying inside a cupped heart. It's beautiful, and I will treasure it forever.
